My name is Michael Daniel Bilicska and I am an entrepreneur. Like many others I was in the dark until I was exposed to alternatives to the 40 year plan by Richard Kiyosaki (Rich Dad, Poor Dad) and others.
I have been working at a utility for the past twenty four years at a nuclear power plant. I got married in 2003 and my wife opened my eyes to being an entrepreneur. We have been working real estate investment on the side and I have a partner who I am breaking into investing in apartment complexes.
One of the more dynamic individuals I met along the way took a break from real estate to do network marketing three years ago. She now makes more than I do annually every two months in network marketing. She told me to follow in her footsteps, but I have been unable to find that path.
Knowing that I could find replacement income for a good job I have tried several alternatives. I have a three year old daughter and I have been diagnosed with Mantle cell lymphoma over two years ago.
My motivation for income from network marketing has changed. Not only do I want to spend time at home with my wife and daughter, but I want to know that they have an income that will not only replace mine, but exceed it.
The good news is that I don’t give up easily and with much research, support and friends I am living with a slow growing cancer with only my spleen removed. No chemo this year and it doesn’t look like chemo next year is one of my mantras.
Needless to say I got involved with the health related network marketing. Being more comfortable with the computers (started a side business as a VB programmer for real estate in 1996, graduated with a MBA with IT concentration in 2002 with classes during the evening) I have gravitated to working with the internet.
I believe in giving back to the community (I am a Mason and a Shriner) so I decided to create a blog to document my journey into financial freedom and help others along the way. I appreciate any constructive comments and I believe to be an effective entrepreneur you need to spend a part of your time in continuing education — whether formal or informal. I hope you enjoy my informal blog.
